The only one of our products not to be made in Britain, these stunning pieces are crafted by master peshtemal weavers in the textile heartlands of Denizli and Hatay in Turkey. Traditionally loomed, each one is made from 100% cotton in a jacquard design and hand-finished with an elegant, twisted fringe.
Both absorbing water and drying much more quickly that other materials, peshtemals are really handy travel companions for adventures near and far. Happily, they also have the added advantage of being really easy to carry around, folding away into neat little bundles that can be popped in your bag or tied to your backpack. Really versatile, they can be used as warming blankets to throw around your shoulders, or as towels, scarves, wraps, throws, baby blankets, table linen and even knotted beach bags. Gently hand wash, or machine wash at 30ºC. Do not use fabric softener.
